Welcome to the first installment of the Preston Medical Library eBook Chronicles!
Did you know that Preston Medical Library purchases access to many eBooks in all medical disciplines?
No need to "check them out" from the library. All you need is Internet access on your computer or "smart devise”, and you can access them anywhere if you are an authorized user of Preston.
In addition to our purchased eBooks, we list relevant titles from other free resources such as the National Center for Biotechnology Information Bookshelf.
Here are some highlights from the “A” ’s in our collection:
American Academy of Family Physicians Conditions A-Z (2010) Patient level information on hundreds of health topics.
ACP Medicine (2011) is a comprehensive reference created and updated by American College of Physicians. It was created to help primary care physicians keep up-to-date with guidelines.
Published since 1959, the stated mission of the AHFS Drug Information 2011 is to “provide an evidence-based foundation for safe and effective drug therapy”.
Watch for future posts highlighting our eBooks A-Z list - one letter at a time!
