Editorial Policy

- Today @ Preston provides information about Preston Medical Library and its services. Additionally, library staff members write entries about where to find credible and reliable information on local, regional, and national health issues, focusing particularly on the primary issues in Tennessee. Resources cited include government sites (CDC, MedlinePlus, etc.) and other reputable health information sites. Quality guidelines for websites are used to determine the credibility of websites contained in the entries. Authors strive for journalistic integrity, including freedom from bias in their entries. The editor reviews each submission for relevance, timeliness, and quality, as well as indexes each entry with the appropriate labels. Any opinions presented are those of the author, not the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine or Preston Medical Library. The blog is updated at least one time per week. No advertising is accepted. library@utmck.edu
